I thought that there was a lot of money and I was going to work and have a house.

From Mexico to the border on car. Crossed the border and walked to Phoenix.
3.What helped you make your final decision on coming to America?
I didn't have money and had a daughter to support. You dad had left me.
4.What did you expect on your arrival?
I was going to have a job right away and everything would be easy.
5.What was your American Dream?
To have a house and make a lot of money. Have a better life.
6.What was your first step?
I got a job and worked.
7.What was your first job?
I worked in a factory that made bags for cameras.
8.Why did you quit?
I was pregnant with you.
9.What did you miss from Mexico?
Everything the food, our customs , and especially my family.
10.Did your American Dream come true?
Yes I have a house. I also got something better a family.

Your mom was in Mexico.

You should know!! Well yes it did. I got a car and two house in the United States and Mexico.

That was an a good idea to interview ur parents. Its really nice to know that they got to make their dream come true. I agree that people think that in the United States u could have money easily.
This was cool that you interview your parents. Thats good that your parents accomplish their goals. Is good that they got double their dream. If your parents accoplish their goals that means that you can accoplish them also.
ruben that was a grate interview i totaly understand them because thats what my parents to me but i decided to make it diffrent
Wow! It must have been hard to support adaughter when your barely starting in a new place. Yet i beter your family had their good ups and downs along the way. Good thing they pulled themselves to gether to get were they are now:]]]
How interesting that most of our parents have similar American Dream, owning a house, buying car, giving their children a better life. These dreams our parents have, we should be thankful for them having it, for without them they might have never come to the U.S, or take the risk of crossing the broader and giving us what we have. Yet it makes me sad that some people don't realize what an American Dream means those who weren't born here. America wake up and make the right choices to help these people finish their dreams!
that was a coolo blog. it wasn't that short in my opinion and it was real good. It is cool that your mom and dads dream has come true. it is nice that your mom is happy with her house and family. also that your dad has 2 houses.

wow dude u got two houses i thouhgt only my friend live like that. thats a good thing though that you got two house to stay in. i rella like ur story its a good job and glad to hear that ur parents completed their dream not a lot of people that come here are lucky enough to do that. anyway good work and comment on mine.

hey ruben real good interview to your parents. those answer were short but they did answer your ? right. its great how after all through that hard work your mom and dad are doing they are happy right now. liked the questions that you asked them. hope your parents could accomplish more of the american dream.
HEy it was realy cool how you did your interview. Lots of questions we can know more kool. realy your parents have two houses and 2 cars. It was nice to here it all there dreams came true!
