This was important to the speech because he was telling us that we can not quit on a dream. No matter how depressed, anger, frustrated we are the dream must live one. Just because things are not going our way does not mean we have to give up. Dreams were not had to be accomplished easy. If they were then whats the point of them.
This got to me because I give up on my dreams. Maybe because I am lazy and don't want to work hard. I know that I can just be given my dream I must work towards it. Also the African Americans had a positive view of their dreams. That's what you need for your dream to come true.

What this poems mean is that what happens to a dream you give up on.Does it just stay there like nothing or takes effect on you. Some people become depressed because their dreams will not come true. Other keep trying until the day comes. What ever happens to your dreams is your decision.

hey Ruben good job on explaining your quote you chose. its true that we shouldn't give up n we still need to work hard to accomplish things. Because there is no way that if we give up those dreams they are gonna come back to u. But u too u should never give up for what you believe. i under stand you i feel the same way about having my dreams come true its just there's us people who want them to come true and those who don't care and about the quote i like that one you took it before i could use it but then there's more i can use
Hi Ruben. Well I agree with the interpretation of that quote. Yes we should neve give up on the dream we have no matter if they seem to far off and seem that we can't achieve it. Its not that your lazy, maybe its beause you just put it off and say to yourself that you'll do it another time, you are forgetting that dream and soon it will become dust like you wrote in your parallel poem. Well don't give up and try hard to reach those goals.
I feel that way sometimes, i feel that i should just give up and not be nothing in life, but like it is always said, u quit you can never achieve what you started so that why no one should ever give up there dream. good poem and good pics.

hey ruben i really like what you said about not giving up on your dream. i think the same thing too people shouldn't give up on their dreams because things aren't goig ok. they should still keep trying. i also like you poem it was really nice well done.
